You can do it very carefully leaving the dial in place - give it a few quick shots and set it dial "up" and leave till it is "completely" dry - yes by evaporation - you can use a hair dryer on "low" - don't bake it to assist - if not completely dry you will eventually see condensation on the inside of the crystal ............good luck cheers p

Thank you for the link . The site shows wrist watches with quartz movements, at least, the one I saw similar to mine. However, mine is hand-wound and given to me.
If you always ask your neighbor's time, it's time to buy a Timex watch .

You think that by using this 'spray' it will remove all the gumming (gum, residues and dried oil) of the movement? Is there another kind of dissolvent Paul ?

I think your watch has been eaten by the Photobucket Monster. Time to use a different hosting service!

You can also attach photos directly to your post, but there is a file size limit. I don't know what the limit is, but it's small.
I keep hearing the song "No Time Left For You" by the Guess Who playing in my head, but somehow the words become "No Timex Left For You"
