Quiz - Value or Not?

Does just what it says on the tin, the place to ask for advice and help, but remember this is an enthiusiast group, not an officia TIMEXl or Professional watchmaker resource, any advice you take is entirely at your own risk!

as no one has replied to my quiz, I shall provide the answer.

YES, the case has value because the stem tube can be extracted and re-used. Which in fact I have already done.

Interesting I would have never guessed that.

yes, each watch has the potential to yield parts. even if it is a stem tube or just a set lever screw.
would you buy a 1963 ladies watch for parts to repair your 1963 marlin?

well of course you would since some of them used a #24 movement.....

which models would these be? ah, that you will have to find out for yourself!

Maybe, there are two methods to determine the answer.

Yes, buy some ladies Timex models.

Research the Timex Repair manuals.

Which route would I suggest? Both!
